Aggression in Dementia
Continuing Studies at the University of Victoria

Often aggression expressed by a person with dementia is a form of survival. It is by understanding the meaning behind this behaviour that we can find interventions which will positively affect both the patient and caregiver. Caregivers will develop a deeper understanding of the foundation of aggression in individuals with dementia, along with strategies for preventing, diffusing, and coping with this behaviour.

Wednesday, November 19th
Starts 6:00pm until 9:00pm
$54.00 Fee (plus applicable taxes)
To register call 250-472-4747 or online at http://www.continuingstudies.uvic.ca/health
